Privacy Policy - Pico Surf

Pico Surf is a local-only surf forecast app. It does not collect, store, or transmit
any personal data to external servers.

Data stored locally on your device:

  • Surfer profile (skill level, board style) — stored in device preferences
  • Saved beaches — stored in local database
  • Cached forecast data — stored in local database, fetched from Open-Meteo (public API)

Network requests:

  • The app fetches wave forecast data from the Open-Meteo Marine API (https://open-meteo.com).
    No personal information is sent with these requests.
  • The app uses OpenStreetMap Nominatim for beach search. No personal information is sent.

The app does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. No account creation is required. No data leaves your device except the forecast
and search API requests described above.
