Oh yeah, and I remember thinking at the time "there's definitely a better way to do this"
but I resolved to just get it working, and maybe ask about it later - but this was back in 2017 so I've forgotten to do that by now :)
By the way, gists don't generate notifications! I only saw this because of a thing called giscus.
...Oh right, which means I have to email you. I almost forgot! (even @ mentions don't work)
